The hack did not work out

Yesterday I poured some dish soap in the container and placed an Aluminum foil over it and was left for a night. The morning when I looked to it the result was very poor. This is the best hack that is given and described on the internet to clean a charred milk container But, it did not work out. I could not understand the reason. When it is not working why is it given on the Intenet. There must be some mistake in my understand the hack or there must be something wrong with me. I thoroughly read about it again. It is rightly given. I repeated it again. I just wanted to observe the reaction if any. There was no such thing.
