The Blackburn Hydration Backpack

My backpack is finally starting to fall apart. It's to be expected. I've had the thing for almost 30 years, after all. It's made by Blackburn, and I bought it for 90 bucks back in the early 1990's. It's a hydration pack. I can carry two 100oz bladders of water in it. Through bike commuting and general cycling and mountain biking, I've put that thing through hell over the years. It's finally showing signs of wear and tear. A buckle has broken, as well as two zippers. The flap has a compartment in which I used to carry everything, including cell phone and money. I had to cut an opening to compensate for the broken zipper, but it's also developed a rip down the side. I can't risk losing those things, so I now no longer use it. Still, I plan on using this backpack until it totally falls apart. But I'd definitely say that I've gotten my $90 worth.

As long as it's lasted, I was hoping to not have to buy another. I'm going to use it until I just can't any longer.

Considering how long ago you purchased it, the darn thing sure served you a good long time.
