She should keep it for memories

I have an online friend who I have know for over 10 years. She is the kind that posts many pictures on Facebook and keeps everyone updated on her status. I just learned that due to a lot of online drama, she will be deleting her Facebook tonight and leaving Social Media for good. I am sorry to see her leave, but it is her choice. This is my opinion. I think people who get sick of their Facebook's and want to leave Social Media, should just let their profiles sit instead of deleting them. The person (like her), have put so much effort into the page, that it should sit as a memorial to the person. By deleting it, it throws away a lot of time and effort. I know of others who have just let it sit. That is what I think, but, it is her choice.

Well how awful that she has been experiencing drama in the first place. Yes I agree but if she feels better deleting then so be it. That is a sad shame. I believe there is a way she can put everything on a flash drive or something to save all the stuff Anne.

That's sad that she was being treated badly. I would leave mine alone but my husband deleted his page because of some haters so I guess everyone feels differently.

You're right. It's her choice. I hope you can keep in touch with her somehow outside of Facebook and social media outlets.

Agreed. But i guess in fb...even after deleating an account, the account will be taken out of fb n nobody could see u further. But whenever the account holder login again...it automatically reactivate to that account without any loss upto where he left it. So it doesnt matter...
