The Seattle Seahawks have signed former Denver Broncos quarterback Austin Davis on Monday.
Davis was released by the Broncos at the end of the 2016 football season. Davis will be competing against Trevone Boykin to serve as Russell Wilson's backup quarterback during the 2017 football season.
The Seahawks released Jake Heap on Monday to allow Davis to join the team.
Now the sports media is lamenting that Colin Kaepernick who tried out to work as the backup quarterback behind Wilson ended on Monday.
The poor bleeding heart sports reporters are now saying that the only way Kaepernick will return to play football in the National Football League will be if a major star quarterback gets injured and he will be called out to replace that football player in a heartbeat.
Sure and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins will direct comedian Dannah Phirman in the "Wordgirl: The Legend Continues" movie. Dream on media.

Davis must be breathing a sign of relief to have a job.

That is very true since in the times he has started as a quarterback, he did not fare well.
