Lately, I've noticed about the recent about regarding about a screw up system from a local bank here ( Bank of the Philippine Islands). People had been comparing about balances in their accounts. Some had like 1 million or more and others lost thousands of pesos. People were assuming it's a system glitch and others think the bank got hacked. The clients have negative balances on their accounts. In face-book some one noticed a lot of corporate post that got vacated almost an hour ago, they were like 8 position. IT was the one I noticed first. I'm happy because I've been a client for Union Bank for the last 10 years! I would have chose BPI but the fees was just too overwhelming. I should have bought Bitcoin a long time ago too, but then again, no one taught me.
Bank of the Philippine Islands President and CEO Cezar Consing on Wednesday apologized to their customers who were affected by a "system glitch", resulting t...

This is really alarming. My husband and I are both BPI account holders. Since the glitch happened, we haven't had access to our accounts and we don't know if we lost money or gained some. At any rate I hope the problem will solved soon.

As of today, the Bank is now back to normal. As far as I can remember, this is the third time that the bank had an issue. If I were a depositor of that bank, I would probably withdrew my money and look for another bank.

@Letranknight2015 It is sad that even banks nowadays can no longer be trusted. The downside of technology.

Hoping both your accounts are safe. Meaning shavkat´s as well. Over here a certain Bank has taken over another one but with others losing their jobs though.

@Letranknight2015 Its something they are doing all the time and you get so used to it and we cannot do anything about what they do in their own little world of finances.
