*I am in my usual bullying self again.

I have former students, now colleagues, who had some exchange of posts on Facebook about the NBA finals. One in particular is the male student (PP) whom I called as getting fat because he “eats pig feeds” like Pigrolac and Mamapro, and another female student (LG) whom I ‘bullied’ during case presentations and ended up as one of the regional topnotchers in the recent nurses’ license examination.
They are grateful to my manner of teaching them in the area where their skills were honed to excellence.
When the GSW won, and I know these 2 colleagues are Cavs’ fans, I immediately made status posts in their timelines, which I am in my usual ‘bullying’ self. I even sought help from one of their classmates to bully them as well, and she (DL) agreed.
These 2 Cavs fans were really riding high with my posts; they even said the Cavs will make it up for the 4th game. I said the 4th will be the final game, because the GSW will win the season.
I am not actually a bully, but when a student needs some push in the clinical area, I bully them to improve. Then they succeed, and they realize that my bullying is a constructive way to boost their morale.

Wow you're Golden State Warriors fan also, congratulations to you. I don't know if that's a case of bully, we have the slang term 'kantiyaw' among us peers.

Some of my teachers have been somehow hard on me at times. But today I am thankful to them. I was among those students who needed that push. And my teachers knew how to get the best out of their students. If you bully someone and this makes them successful then it is a great thing. I am sure that you are proud of PP and LG today

@Nawsheen thanks. now, PP and LG are 'bullying' me on FB because GSW lost. i told them the GSW planned on their loss because it will be a pity if the cavs don't win a single game of the finals.

i agree a hundred percent. James appears the poor and defeated player with his head bowed down. he shows signs of humility because of the 3-0 loss to the cavs.
i love Curry too. he is an unassuming player, and i love the part when he always brings out his kid when they win the game.

yes, my friend. actually, it is not 'bullying' per se, but i am just making fun of their emotions when the cavs lost; but yes, i bully them constructively when they are lax in the clinical area.

@Courtlynn right, just like here. when it is the basketball finals, the fans of the 2 teams get themselves into word war. before too, when the referees commit errors in judgment calls, the fans throw coins and water in plastic, so the court was usually wet and it took time for the cleaners to dry the court.

@ridingbet lol. I love when fans can dish it out before games but once their teams lose they hide or get mad.

yes my friend. i always like to raise them into their highest level if possible, and it shows when they comment that "i am their favorite CI" and they are "forever in gratitude for the knowledge and skills that they gained from me".

no, i am confident they don't hate me. i am strict in the area but outside i am like their mother. a sign? they take my hand and put it in their forehead (magmano) whenever they see me, and what i do next is, i hug them, even at sidewalk or in church.

@thelme55 hmm, i would gladly be a teacher to one who is scared of one (teacher). but if the student is hard headed, then i may show the strict side of me.

@ridingbet that is good. I think I like you being my teacher. I didn't have a teacher like you.
