i have no regrets about any of my experiences in scouting. i've been a scout and a scout leader. scouting led me to my volunteer activities with the american red cross, also. my daughter was in scouting inthe 1990's i was a scout in the 1960's. my grandkids are 18 months and 6 months so we've got some time for them. my two stepsons are both eagle scouts. they especially loved all the outdoor activities. i'm very proud of the work the boys have done to become eagle scouts. it's very rare to have two eagle scouts in one family. the oldest became an eagle scout last year and the youngest made eagle this year.

I grew up in Japan and my town didnt have girl scout or boy scout. We had soccer, baseball for boys through school. For girls was valley ball. My parents put me and my sister to swimming school all through the elementary school. I was in badminton club for 3 years. For my future kids, I love for them to involve in some kind of activities.

i was in scouts. my one daughter was also. i'm going to offer to help my grandsons if they want to join, too. i think there are a lot of good friendships and values learned in scouting. i think a lot of fun skills are learned in scouting, also. not everyone gets the chance to go camping or learn other skills without scouting. usually the adults involved with scouting are very dedicated. it's nice to have other adults contribute to my children's and grandchildren's growing up. that way the kids get to see other quality individuals in our community.
