i just cant seem to drink it, is there a trick to it?i guess its the raw eggs

I buy a carton every year, thinking that this will be the year that I will like eggnog. Every year, it's the same thing. I drink it, and go, "yuck", why did I buy this stuff. So, I don't think there's a trick, you either like it or you don't.

I am not an eggnog drinker either. But 1 day after pouring a little vodka, I added a little eggnog and oh my! It was SOOOOO good! I also mix with milk, thins it down some and tastes a little better, but I still think its too sweet and thick. But to drink it from the carton.. no way! Blech!
