New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker has drawn interest from the Baltimore Ravens who are in need of the services of the 30 year old wide receiver who will not be returning to the Jets before the start of the 2017 football season. The Ravens are in need of a wide receiver since the retirement of their star wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. at the end of the 2016 football season. The catch (no pun intended) is that the Jets want some players or draft choices from the Ravens so they can rebuild their football team in 2017 and into the future. If the Jets cannot execute a trade with the Ravens, then the Jets will release Decker who as an unrestricted free agent can sign with another team in the National Football League besides the Ravens.
