I'm almost finished with this countdown of favorite songs with the word "music" in the title. This follows my countdown of favorite songs with the word "song" in the title. Here's probably one of the biggest non-surprises in the history of my countdowns.
#2: Don't Stop the Music - George Jones
I really don't need to say anything beyond "George Jones." And you don't even have to listen, because you know this song's going to break your heart.
Yes, there are singers that I like better than ol' Possum, but nobody could squeeze every molecule of emotion out of a song the way George Jones could. Wowza, what pain. And remember, he was only 25 when he recorded this.
There's a reason he was the legend he was. If you have any question, take a listen to this. You may not like country music, but you're going to understand.

AW only 25 then..Believe it or not I have heard this one.
But of course you know my fav is He Stopped Loving Her Today.
Reminds me of some old bastich I used to live with..he was a real azz but he loved that song lol
