Yes, it might be me but at the moment I am not talking about me. I am talking about my beloved kitten. My kitten used to have two meals a day. Two weeks ago, we took her to the vet and was told that she needed to loose half a kilo in her as she was fat. We listened to the vet's advice and started cutting down on what we gave her. From one table spoon of dried food to one teaspoon. Since then she eats more than ever. She keeps wanting to eat all the time. From two meals a day now up to 4-5 meals a day. In the end, we give up on listening to the vet's advice. We will love her even if she is heavier and fatter. And as for her health, we will worry about it later. Am I wrong in thinking this way?

As long as you are healthy, can eat and can functioning properly you are ok... don't worry too much of the weight.. At least you can eat alot and not to worry about being heavier...

Thank you... I hate seeing her getting hungry, but at the same time I don't want her to be obesity or any other sickness relate to eat too much.

If the cat is hungry you need to feed her. I would feel sad to see her hungry. Maybe the vet could have suggested something else

@atoz1to10 yes I can understand. I would not like to see an animal craving for food I would say

@Nawsheen even us... I'm sure they will get food by themselves if they are allowed to do so..

Or maybe it is to do with the cold season... I don't bother to listen to the vet any more, if the cats are hungry, I will feed them..
