Even though the release of the Marvel Studios movie "The Black Panther" will not be released until February 16, 2018, Marvel who along with Disney Studios will start the tease of the motion picture during the fourth game of the National Basketball Association Finals (NBA) on Friday evening. The social media warriors are already raising their voices that the image of T'Challa who is the alter ego of the Black Panther sitting on a throne looks a lot like Black Panthers Party founder Huey Newton. Coincidence or a subtle message is up to you to decide. Chadwick Boseman who was in the Marvel movie "Captain America 3: Civil War" will reprise his role as The Black Panther who was created by Stan Lee and the late Jack "King" Kirby is not based on the Black Panthers Party since his first appearance in the comic books in July 1966 in the Fantastic Four #52. Coogler is famous for directing "Fruitvale Station" and "Creed". The movie should do well in the box office when it opens in February 2018. Maybe the Wordgirl villain character The Handsome Panther could be a parody of the Black Panther character though.
