If you've noticed, I've been MIA today. Aside from it being my aunt's 90th birthday I drove to St. Louis for a concert. I get to see someone new (as far as concerts goes) tonight: Parker Millsap. (Robbie Fulks is the headliner, I wouldn't drive 250 miles for Parker! ) I want to take a second and talk about how COOL this building is. There's an episode of Mysteries At the Museum that dealt with the old Lemp Brewing Company. This venue, Off Broadway, isn't too far from that old brewery. That's part of the charm. As you can see from the brick wall, it's been here for a long time. It's a good venue (this is my second time seeing Robbie here, and I also saw Dale Watson here). It's also cool because, much like the music, it's real. If those bricks could only talk....

That's a cool room. I'd like to see a show there.

I can only imagine if those bricks could talk ...Happy Bday to your dear Aunt too. There are some cool venues everywhere, but St Louis does have a lot of them. Used to live there.

Always great when vintage buildings are preserved.
