Harvard students plan graduation ceremony for blacks only

There was a time when if blacks went to schools that were separate from whites, it was segregation. Racism. Now, black Harvard students are having their own graduation. I can see this happening with other minorities. If white people had their own graduation to celebrate their white heritage, it would be considered racism. We don't have any all white colleges. There are black colleges. If you want to celebrate your heritage, then it might be a good idea to go to a college that does exactly that. Harvard is a college that has many races and those races should celebrate together.

This is segregation, pure and simple. The article I read says the black students are doing this to highlight the extra struggles blacks go through to get into and through Harvard. Last time I checked, being black made it a lot easier to get into Harvard than being white with the same academic credentials.

That is true. It's just like getting a job. Minorities have an edge. The white man struggles. I may be a woman, but I am not afraid to call it as I see it.
