Today at the pride parade there people arguing about being queer and the Bible. There was a guy saying that he used to be gay and that the church changed him and he was telling people there who are gay and lesbian that they needed to change to being straight or they would go to hell. Some people got very angry arguing with him. Others agreed to disagree. I believe that God is love and He created us to love in a variety of ways and that is how I reconcile my faith in God and my love of women. I go to a church that loves unconditionally the way that I believe God loves and all members are accepted as they are. Only God is supposed to judge and there are worse things than being queer. People judge because it is human nature but we can work on loving more and judging less and that is a way to be more like God who loves and forgives us.

While I identify myself as under the Mormon/Latter Day Saint religion (albeit a misfit member though, and not as staunch and stalwart as my older member family and friends) I also believe in a love everyone god. Besides, didn't Jesus say, love one another more love, less judge. If you want to know more about my religious views, you can visit my other post on here under embracing the Mormon misfit
