Do you fear the Sharia Law?

Some people feel it could never be incorporated into our country. I am not so sure of that. I believe a sub group could be formed to allow people from other countries to have their own laws. After all, we do have honor killings in this country. Are they legal? No. Are they still happening? Yes. When a Muslim man moves to this country and marries an American woman, she is subjected to all of his ways. The children must be raised as Muslim or they will all go to hell. They must eat halal food. She must cover. I will stop there.
Demonstrators spurred by one of the largest grass-roots anti-Muslim groups in the United States rallied against Sharia law over the weekend.

That is so true that if a person that is not a Muslim marries a Muslim then they have to do what they say to do. We have had young impressionable Jewish girls go out with Arabs and marry them and then the beatings begin and the girls are very scared and someone has to get them away from where they are. This is Israel and it is a Jewish country so yes, I see Arab women in their outfits from head to toe, but, I am also seen Jewish women do the same thing. We have our own customs here in Israel and there are some of them I do not agree with, but, I do not do them so it does not affect me. If the American woman is an adult she has to learn before hand what she would be getting into and not letting the Muslim sweet talk her till after the marriage. She has to learn to say no. I think it is sad how the women are treated that they cannot do certain things, but, we have religious Jewish women here in Israel that are not treated right either. So, which is the better way of life?

When a man is sweet and shows not signs of what he will really be like, it is easy to be led in the wrong direction. This is where it is important to be led by your faith in Jesus.

Time will tell. I don't tell others how to live, and I want to keep my freedom.

I fear any extremism in the name of religion. There are Christian denominations in the US who insist that women never wear make-up, have no skin exposed, and submit to their husbands regardless of what he does.

That is very true. I am familiar with some forms of Christianity that is extreme. However, I am not aware them presenting anything that will make me fear for my life like the Sharia Law, Honor Killings, etc.
