At present, I feel Narendra Modi is a a great leader who has a vision to take the country forward. Sometimes though I feel his decisions are not appropriate, but may be in longer run, they are going benefit us immensely.

@saiama I agree, but I feel all parties use this divide and rule ploy, some use directly and some indirectly.

@avi256 exactly but one should learn to discern what is right and what is wrong and common people should learn to identify the plots these parties play to trap common people like you and me and play with their feelings

@avi256 modi for his vision can be considerd for and given benefit of doubt but if he continues to follow the divide and rule policy of the party he belongs to, its hard for him to get elected in second term

@saiama Yes some political forces back then ensured he did not get that time and support , otherwise he was a prolific leader.

@saiama You are absolutely right.Modi can't be expected to change everything overnight- within a short span of three years. He is pragmatic, a no nonsense man and India now needs a leader with these qualities.I don't see a single leader other than Modi who can lead India now. I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the name of Lalbahadur Shastri.

@else34 i do agree with you but fitting modi with these great leaders i think is too early let him make some drastic changes that would really turn around the economy and increas employment and reduce poverty only then one can consider him to be one of these greats

Every challenge throws up a leader but we have personal choices and preferences. Gandhi and Nehru were leaders of those times too. In my view there are the many who fought behind the lines and they are no less courageous. It is time we had a leader of humanity - siva
