Sharing my Winter Sky

I felt I had to share this wonderful marvel of a sky as it set upon a really tough Monday. Monday's have a habit of arrivng every week. New plans, new projects, just like clicking the refresh button on life. However they drain us emotionally because we anticipate too much from the ordinary Monday. Today was no exception. Other than being able to catch up with a few friends on mylot, and plan some baking for tomorrow, it posed its same challenges and emotional strains. Luckily God rewards us on the plains of South Africa with some of the most breathtaking sunsets. Decide for yourself. Photo taken by my daughter after she conducted the last ballet class for the day, then sent to me.

The photo is incredible. Monday's can be tough. The work for the week is piling up and it can be overwhelming. Fortunately what has to be done by Friday is usually done by Friday.

That is a gorgeous photo @Inlemay , we do get some breathtaking winter sunsets. My Monday included a baking disaster. I hope your baking goes better.

What a beautiful sky! A friend of one my daughters, a girl we have known since she was four years old, recently married a man from South Africa. Her wedding was here in Malibu, California. The couple is back in South Africa for the wedding of his sister. I hope they got to see that magnificent winter sky!
