Updating Drivers

Because, you know, who needs to get things done on the computer? Not me, obviously. Not like I work on the computer or anything. So when things like my mouse do not work, it is not a total inconvenience. Nope, does not affect my life whatsoever! My drivers are out of date on my laptop for the billionth time, so my USB ports are not fuctioning properly, which is crazy annoying! I have to update my ports about every 2 months it seems. Grr, I wish that they wouldn't go out. It is rather irrtating. It is even worse when my audio goes out. I think, oh my computer is broken. Nope! It is just the port that went out and I have to waste like 2 hours just updating everything. And it is things that are never caught on those automatic updates either. Those automatic updates are just for Windows to put more junk on your computer that you will never use. Here is hoping the wait is worth it and I get my USB ports back so I can use my mouth and work on stuff!

I am ready for a full replacement, I just can't seem to settle on a new one or make a decision about what I want

I would love to get an entirely new laptop, but that won't happen for a while.

These devices are made to not last long, unfortunately. They spoil fast, I bought the laptop I'm using in 2014 and now its performace must have decreased by 50% or so. And I have to update the OS as well, so it asks me. I hope the driver update solved the USB port issue, I usually use the touchpad but I know how hard it is to use it while you're accustomed to the mouse. And yeah, I usually deactivate automatic updates, except the antimalware ones, of course.

I have to use a mouse because I draw on the computer and it makes it much easier to zoom in and out and also pan haha! It just seems like usb ports are just built to break these days, it is crazy how terrible they are. Luckily there are ways to update things when they bug out, but it shouldn't happen so often.
