Iris West making a cameo in the Justice League movie.

I am just starting to wonder if I am living in an alternate Earth since actress Kiersey Clemons will have a cameo role in the movie "Justice League" that opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
Iris West in the movie plays the role of the girlfriend of The Flash alias Barry Allen. I will give D C Comics credit for making me think that I am living in an alternate world since she is not the person I remember reading in the Flash comic books in the late 1970s.
I am just starting to wonder if the "Justice League" movie has political correct overtones since Kiersey is Black and the original Iris West in the comic books is Caucasian.
Maybe DC Comics and myself live in different worlds or am I having a bad dream that comic book characters have changed a lot since my childhood.
The other news of the motion picture is that is a rumor that Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) will make a cameo appearance in the movie.
D C Comics is hoping that the "Justice League" movie will be a hit so they release more super hero movies to compete with Marvel in the next few years.

The complaints from many of the comic book fans of the D C and Marvel rosters is that putting on minority characters to replace the original characters is that they do not appeal to the majority of their audiences are Caucasian, their comic book sales have slumped.

I know what you mean. That is why the movie studios and television shows can scream at me "What our show" and I will tell them "Pound sand and create new characters like I created Donna and Debi Moreno and Gabrielle Squirrel.
