Last day of cyber school followed by a tour

Yesterday was the last day of cyber school for my son. It was over by noon and was pretty much just a game day.
Once school was over we went to a library to sign my daughter up for the teen summer reading program and to borrow a bunch of manga books.
We had to drop my sons school books off to ups and I saw an ice cream shop across the street so we went and I bought my kids each a milkshake.
We had to get a few quick groceries and then we went to pizza hut for dinner which was my sons choice to celebrate his finishing school. The stuffed garlic knots were delicious but the rest of the food was not very good.
Today I met up in the morning with two new friends and we went on a tour of a local church property. It was really beautiful seeing the grounds and buildings and learning about the local history. I did all the walking trails and found the perfect spot by the river to hide a geocache.
It was a very hot day today but I loved it. Tomorrow I will have some time to sit more and catch up here at mylot. The photo I posted was the food we ate at Pizza Hut.

My son was pretty grumpy but I am just thrilled that school is out for others summer now!

Don't you just hate it when you spend money on fast food and it turns out blah? Your outing sounds like quite a bit of fun. Glad you found a good geocache place.

@Shellyann36 No I hid the geocache in a tree down by a beautiful view of the river. The tree had a big hole in it and that is where I hid it. The first person found it but when my friend who was the second person went to look for it it was gone. So I moved it a few miles away a half mile down an old railroad trail hoping to deter anyone from stealing it. I also made it only available to premium members.

Cyber school is where my son is home and does his schooling on a computer where he interacts with other students and his teacher and then they have homework that is offline.

That does not look like any pizza hut pizza I've ever seen. Sorry it was not good. Yay for milkshakes

They learn the same things they would at a public school. My son has live classes where on a computer the teacher explains the lessons and they do their work online. Then later they have homework offline to do to ensure they are learning the lessons thoroughly.

Sounds like fun was had by all the food looks good especially the garlic knots.I bet your son is glad school is done for the summer. Will he be doing cyber school again when school starts back up? I hope your daughter enjoys the reading program and earns some prizes from it. Did you sign up for the adult summer reading program?

So far I have not heard about an adult summer reading program unfortunately. I had hoped to have more time for mylot today but I was busier then I expected. I am catching up on the comments on this post then taking a shower. I have a somewhat busy day tomorrow as well but I hope to catch up more on mylot tomorrow before I get to far behind.
