Baby Rabbits

Last night our couple rabbit gave birth. There were 6 of them. So cute and move like an earthworm.
Rabbits, before giving birth will fix the nest. Then she will pull her furs-- this is where the mother give birth. The rabbit usually give birth to as many as 10 babies.
Hope all the babies will grow up.

cute newborn rabbits. now, kabsat, be sure you have planted some carrots for them when they grow to be adult rabbits

@ilocosboy are those white cotton the fur of the parent rabbits? or did you put those cotton to cover the litter?

he he, the parents like feeds than grass, carrots now is so expensive.

We raised rabbits back when I was growing up. It was always fun watching them grow up. We did sell quite a few, and yes, even ate some as well. I do not remember the mother pulling her hair out like this. That is interesting.

@ilocosboy I used to have over 50 hamsters at once.
I miss having them sometimes. they were a fun pet.

I also plan to have hamster as pet-- the smaller version of the pet.

This is the first time I've seen newborn baby rabbits. They looked so fragile.
