Bananas are wonderful local fruit where ypu can buy in Malaysia at a very cheap price or even grow it in your backyard with a good harvest.
Last few days, I saw a last minute sale on the almost rotten, smashed bananas on the rack. A bunch of bananas cost $4 but on that day it was selling at $1
So, I bought a couple of them but the next day, the bananas turned dark brown, partly mashed and yucky.
Nobody is willing to eat them.
So, I peeled the skin, mashed them up and mixed them into a cake batter. Yes, I had baked a Banana Cake with rotten bananas and tasted delicious, fragrance and not yucky at all.
Either you can use rotten bananas as compost or turn them into tasty food. Do not discard them into the bin.

I make banana bread or cake with them too. My family enjoys the tasty treats I bake .

I would rather compost it than eat the rotten banana.

Based on my experience here, my mom just let out pigs dig themselves in.
