TV Review - Dr Who - The Eaters Of Light

Spoiler alerts Maybe it should be called the eaters of light snacks between devouring universes. Would a few soldiers even make an impression on the stomach of creatures capable of digesting the stars? Nardole looked like he was going to a cosplay or masquerade as Arthur Dent. The talking crows - Gaiman meets Dr Doolittle Bill is sent off alone to see if she can find an army of men who might not have had sex in months? All very Chelmsford 123 - rather obvious what the popcorn would be used for. Bill's gender issues chat was rather lovely but her then giving a motivational speaker talk to trained legionnaires on being brave though scared was patronising and just plain silly. It was just short of powerpoint. Their eternal battle was intentionally shoehorning themselves into legend with songs of glory literally going on forever The Doctor giving Missy total access to the TARDIS was really stretching credibility. Her dress sense veers from Miss Haversham to Elsa Lanchester-Goth. Hopefully the season close 2 parter will brighten things up. Arthur Chappell

Well, it was much better than that lame 3 part Monk invader disaster. I did actually enjoy most of this one. Are the Doctor and Missy going to have some sort of sordid affair?

I don;t think I'm okay with the Doctor giving Missy control of the TARDIS.

I loved watching the 1960's version of "Dr. Who". I haven't seen the newer versions yet
