I wonder how many people out there that actually ignores Father's day if their dads either abandoned them or left with another woman.
They say that when Father's cheat, their words are limited or filled with excuses or something.
Can anybody enlighten me how and why Father's day was celebrated in the first place? I mean there is a History behind this.
I don't know what was going through their heads, but really shame on them.

Hello @jstory07 That's absolutely right, it was just a way to raise business profit.

@Letranknight2015 I think we need to be open-minded about this issue.

Here is a link. It is a good read, .
How do you feel about cheating and irresponsible mothers? Do you think cheating mothers do not deserve to be included in Mothers Day celebrations?

I totally agree with @jstory7. This is another celebration just to help shops/florists or other businesses to persuade customers to spend their money. When i was at the university i did a research on valentine's day and how it helps to boost sales for many businesses. The link was very strong

Hello @Nawsheen I guess you're right about that. I am glad that I was not into buying flowers during Valentines day, it was actually an ordinary day for me.

i think celebrating father's day here in our country began some decades ago. i think even cheating fathers should still be given recognition, because one cannot be borne out of this world if not for their fathers.

I guess you're right too, they probably deserve some recognition @ridingbet otherwise they wouldn't have count if there was "Husbands" day.
