Does absence make the heart grows fonder or does it make the heart forgets?

Some people like me believe that absence makes the heart grows fonder. It makes me miss my other half more. And the moment we see each other again, our loves even grows stronger. Does the absence make your heart grows fonder or it does the other thing?

It says also that - absence makes the heart wander.

I think that the fondness is already there. But if it is there, you miss the person when he is not with you.

When was the last time you have seen him? How long were you together before you were separated again?

@toniganzon The last time I saw my boyfriend personally was last month. We are planning to see each other again 2 months from now.

@annierose You see him often as others do so that makes the heart grow fonder. It's not too long. But for those are away from each other for years, make them more frustrated.

@toniganzon Oh, I think the longest time that we did not see each other is 1 year.

It depends on the relationships. If it is too deep, then it describes of what you had stated here.

@annierose It has been a long time that I broke up with my ex. It wasn't a good ending story.

Hi Ingrid! I agree especially if there's also lack of communication. It makes the couple think deeper of how real and serious their relationship is .

@annierose yes, that is right. ponder, because when you are far from your love one, you will have deep thinking about how your relationship will go through. it is some sort of thinking in retrospect.

@prashu228 If it is someone very special to you, I think you are going to miss that person.
