Wrinkles on our skin are the first tell-tale signs of aging. Although we cannot totally eliminate the appearance of wrinkles as we age, we can to a certain extent, retain a youthful appearance as we advance in years. Timely skin care is of vital importance. Here are some tips to delay the ravages of wrinkles: • Avoid harsh sunlight directly on your skin as it can cause dark brown spots, sagging and wrinkles. Early morning or evening sunlight can furnish your skin with vitamin D. • Drink plenty of water, at least 8-10 glasses daily. It can keep the skin hydrated with nutrients while eliminating the toxins from your bodily system. • Keep your skin moisturized at all times as some intrinsic factors like decrease in estrogen, collagen and elastin could cause sagging and wrinkles. • Eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies to keep the skin smooth and supple. • Lastly, keep a cheerful frame of mind and smile as often as you can. Smiling is a Good one. So often times there are people out there who are always Frowning and never happy and as they get older they even have the lines going that way.

I wish I'd known about the dangers of sunlight when I was young as I have several brown spots, and my husband has had skin cancer. But I've always stuck to your last tip

@Gabugs No Gabby, they aren't freckles and have only appeared these last couple of years. There's just two, and I cover them with a concealer when I go out.

@Gabugs Most of them already are. I don't get out in the sun enough as I'm on Vitamin D.
