Why do people try to turn events into a conspiracy? Wasn't the actual event bad enough?

I think people try to explain the unknown aspect of the events as a conspiracy and that the government has something to do with everything bad that happens. Maybe it makes them feel better at night.

Some conspiracy theories are so hokey that I don't think anyone really believes them. My theory about conspiracy theories is that they can be a lot of fun, and people just pretend to believe in them. Kind of like how we will all entertain ghost stories on a dark, windy night.

As a retired Antitrust Investigator for the Attorney General; may I tell you; that some people don't even trust themselves, not to mind others. Conspiracies are their "Cup of Tea"... ...they see something, that NOT even GOD (the Christian God) can see. Now Allah, may see something... ...cause he/she couldn't see the TRUTH if it was looking him/her in the eye.

Hatred for the government maybe? Its just sad that people try to link someone else to a tragic event, making it seem like there was another reason for it to happen.
