Culinary Epic Fails: Peanut Cheese and Raisin Sandwiches

This *gag* delicious concoction comes to us from the friends at Southen Living. I really am starting to worry about what food was like in the eighties. That and thanking my lucky stars that I wasn't around to witness or taste it. Now I know why a lot of old people are bitter, they had to eat this stuff. Anyway, it calls for cinnamon raisin bread, milk, butter, chunky peanut butter, shredded cheese, and raisins. Apparently you toast the bread and mix all the other ingredients into a goopy disaster and then spread them on the toasted bread. As if that's going to make it any better. There's nothing good about any of this. Why? Who would put cheese and peanut butter in a sandwich and then say hey you know what this needs? Raisins and cinnamon! EWW

@Courtlynn Every time I make friends now I am going to ask them if they would eat this, if they say yes- then I have to tell them we cant be friends.

from the name it sounds edible but not particularly great as a combination

@thislittlepennyearns Thinking about it made me throw together a peanut butter sandwich for lunch but without the raisins and other stuff

Yes, that does sound pretty awful. Then again there are other combination perhaps no one would try but other love. I used to love eating tuna salad sandwiches with cheddar cheese.

Somebody got really drunk and thought this one up, either that or a four year old made a sandwich with the stuff he could reach. Lol. It doesn't even begin to pass as food for me.
