Imambara opposite Hazarduari Palace was brilliant.

Intitially an Imambara was built by Siraj Ud Dawla in the vicinity of Hazarduari Palace in Murshidabad. Murshidabad was the capital of Bengal in the 1750s. Then a new Imambara was built called Nizamat Imambara used as a prayer hall. It is there till today. Those who come to visit Hazarduari also visit the Imambara.

Thanks Ocean it was built in 1848. the Hazarduari Palace has relics of Nawab rule in Murshidabad. They lost their kingdom to Lord Clive in battle of Plassey in 1757.

@TiarasOceanView Yes Ocean, Siraj Ud Dawla had more army in Battle of Plassey than Clive's army. But conspirators like Jagat Seth, Amin Chand, Mir Zafar helped the British to ensure Siraj lost the battle in 1757. Bengal was the first territory won by the British in India.
