Frugal Food: Dinner for three for under $10.

So since the main part of dinner is cooking away in the crock pot, I figured I might as well get this posted. :)
Tonight is pot roast, homemade mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It's not as cheap as some of the frugal food meals we have had in the past couple of days, but still is by far cheaper than eating out.
Here is the breakdown for tonights meal:
-Pot Roast (about 1.5 pounds) $5.00
-Potatoes $1.00
-Broccoli $2.50
-Milk, garlic salt, onion powder, parsley, butter $1.00
Total for tonight's dinner for three- $9.50

I can't do cheap meals.. or well.. i can. As sometimes we have half the things needed already, but wouldn't know how to calculate those lol

@thislittlepennyearns haven't had dinner yet.. lasagna is in the oven though, 45minutes til its done. Ugh. Oh and i had italian bread while putting it together. Lol
