Transformers 5 is a hit overseas despite the bad reviews

The fifth Transformers 5: The Last Knight movie has not been a box office home run in the U S but the movie has been a hit in the Far East market like China.
The box office estimate of "Transformers 5: The Last Knight" for the five day period will be around $60 million dollars in the U S which makes it the lowest total of money made in the fifth movie of the franchise.
Despite the fact that the Transformers movie franchise is losing steam with American audiences, Paramount Studios plans to make a Transformers Cinematic Universe by having spin offs of the Transformers franchise since the audiences outside the U S like the series.
Now if only the movie studios would make a "Galaxy Rangers" movie based on the cartoon series. Need blood is needed in the super hero movie business.

Go for it. When a theater is not full for a hit movie, you have a better chance to get a good seat at the movies.

I would rather see Wordgirl beat up her friendly rival Tobey McAllister III beat up his robots on the PBS Kids cartoon series on television or DVD instead of Transformers.

Yes, I read some negative comments about Transformers 5 online. However, it seems that it has not an effect for it to sell well here. It is still a popular movie. I think many people may not really care about the story. They like Transformers, special effects and so on.

That is true because fans of the franchise will see a movie to be entertained despite the negative publicity it gets. It worked for Wonder Woman.
