Los Angeles Lakers front office personnel leader Magic Johnson explained why he drafted UCLA freshman Lonzo Ball to his team.
Johnson believes that Ball can a leader of his team in the near future after former Laker D' Angelo Russell was traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez.
Ball who has made a lot of enemies thanks to his father LaVar Ball pushing his son as the next big thing will hopefully silence his critics that playing basketball for the Lakers he will fulfill his expectations of being the leader that Johnson sees in him.
Good luck with that since the Lakers are in a rebuilding stage at this time.

Oh, the kid's dad was that loudmouth guy? I remember that in the news. Makes it a bit hard to root for the kid at first. But maybe his own personality is better than his dad's. It's hard to root against the Warriors because they're all such good dudes.

I am thankful that LaVar Ball is not my dad. I wish Lonzo the best of luck dealing with media spotlight working with Magic Johnson.

That is true since the spotlight in Los Angeles can melt a young kid like Lonzo Ball who has to deal with his dad making him out to be the next big thing. Are we seeing the second coming of the Bronx Zoo but in Los Angeles with the Lakers in the near future? Stay tuned.
