Golden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant has found a way to get even with Oklahoma City Thunder fans who called him a "cupcake" after he left the Thunder to pursue his dream of winning an National Basketball Association Championship ring as a member of the Golden State Warriors by having an image of a cupcake on his baseball cap. I will say it once and I will say it again. Basketball fans should realize that Durant wanted to get a championship ring after playing basketball for the Thunder from 2007-2016. There is a famous saying by the late German poet Friedrich Nietzsche which goes "What does not kill me only makes me stronger." Just realize basketball fans on any team that if you could leave your current employer to work with another company that offers you a higher salary you would jump ship too.

That's very true. It's not like the Marlins having their post-World Series fire sales as if to make sure they didn't repeat as World Series champions. Most people who play at the professional level want to win. I think that's why bad teams get worse: it's hard to "play your best" when you're 22 games out of first by the all-star break. Congratulations to Kevin Durant. Next year when the Warriors play the Thunder in OKC, maybe he should buy everyone in the crowd a cupcake.

Good point because if he accepts being called a cupcake by his haters, it takes away the effect of the insult like Wordgirl did in the cartoon movie "The Rise Of Miss Power."

Durant had the last laugh. He got the ring and was Finals MVP.

That is true. Hating him made Durant famous.
