A new week has begun! I’m just back from ten days in North Carolina, visiting with my oldest son and his wife. I’m trying to get back into my regular routine. I finally got my suitcase unpacked and all my toiletries back where they belong. Shampoo, etc. Putting everything away after a trip takes a while. It seems like I had to take so many things with me. It’s difficult to get everything back in place. My next planned trip will be in October, when I hope to go to Virginia Beach for a week. We have a time-share condo there and I always enjoy going to the beach. I usually take a couple gal pals with me. My daughter usually comes for a few days too. We have a nice time, eating out and going to karaoke. The beach weather is usually very nice in October and the summer crowd is gone. I’m also hoping to go to West Virginia in the FALL to visit some of my cousins. I was born in West Virginia and grew up there. Moved away after I got married. I love the mountains of West Virginia, though and always love to go back for a visit. What plans do you have for the summer and fall months?

Good morning! I am in winter now and it is raining. But I also have a timeshare and in a few days I will go to Aruba for 2 weeks with my youngest daughter and her youngest children. I am also member of Interval, where I can exchange my unit and rent getaways should I need more time.

Time shares are great! I hope you have a wonderful time in Aruba. I have been to Aruba. My husband and I traveled there with my youngest son and his wife a few years ago. It was a very nice trip.

I took casual and dress clothes and hair care products, cosmetics and shoes and the photo album I had completed so my son could see all his ancestors. Then, I took a puzzle but we never did get around to working on it. I knew we would be going out to dinner and possibly other places that I might need to dress up a bit.

@Courtlynn Right! I took my IPad too and the chargers for both my cell phone and my IPad. I also took my favorite pillow that I sleep with every night and a couple jackets that I never needed to wear. But, you just never know what the weather might be. It was mostly WARM but rainy too.

I used to travel a lot, but now I don't go very far away from home. Just to the beach or the mountains here in Virginia or to North Carolina or West Virginia. I've been to 25 different countries and 45 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. But, I have stopped traveling internationally.
