So I would like to lose about 10 pounds. I'm working on it I'm also stressed discovered harvest cheddar Sun chips. Now these are amazing to me because I'm allergic to MSG and I miss Doritos and folks these are awesome. So the bag has seven servings per container and that's 6% of your daily carbs in a serving. The problem? I want to eat the whole bag. How do you fight the stress carb craving issue? Looking for Helpful tips, not diet plans.

Sometimes it helps me to have a different snack ready to grab. A cucumber ready to grab, etc. Something that suits you. As far as chips I just don't keep them in the house. I can not deal with them any other way

@Gwynivar I know the problem. I would buy them and eat a few and then stop and put the rest in the trunk. But then down the road I would just stop and get them out of the trunk.

I keep chips out of the house as much as possible! It's the driving- that's when I eat the chips.

The doctor just told me that I would have to skip carbs. I heard that as if I should eat less carbs. And that means either no snacks or some snacks that are not rich in carbs.

Almonds are a good protein snack, and peanut butter is good as well. Studies have shown snacking on peanut butter, folks lost more weight even with the fat content because its protein and fat not carbs.

@Gwynivar Yes. But that is expensive here. So I eat more veggies and meat.

@marguicha I find buying in the bulk/self-serve section helps on the price of almonds.

I got obese when I gave birth to my second baby. what I did to loose weight was to not starve myself. I ate whenever I'm hungry but in small portions. I read it somewhere before that if we starve ourselves, it will only make our body try to store more fats. This worked for me.
