Confess! What is your alter ego? For this post, I am referring to the definition of this term which means an alternate self, one that is hidden and /or that other people wouldn't suspect. Just for fun, will you share what yours is? Mine is a drummer in a rock band!!

A drummer! Wow! I guess mine is a singer along the lines of James Taylor. Maybe that is why I taking guitar lessons.

Lol! That's adorable! I would be a cardiac surgeon. It's what my mother talked me out of in high school, and what my husband told me would disrupt our family.

@BloggerDi My other dream was to be a teacher, and that was the most fulfilling career I could have had. I've touched many lives, and that's what really counts.

Thank you @DianneN. That's a fascinating and somewhat sad story. You've had an unfulfilled dream all of your adult life. I'm glad that you seem to be a very content person though. I suppose we all have situations in life that never worked out the way we'd hoped, but we make the best of it and keep going forward.

A drummer in a rock band would be a cool alter ego. I'm not sure who my alter ego is. Have you ever seen the 1960s TV show The Equalizer? Sometimes I think my alter ego is someone like that.

@BloggerDi That's good one too. I've always thought I could be a good private investigator, since I appear very "normal" and don't command a lot of attention in a room (unless I speak).
