Gary DeCarlo who recorded the hit song "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" has passed away from lung cancer in hospice in Connecticut with his wife by his side at the age of 75. DeCarlo and Paul Leka recorded the song "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye" for Mercury Records in 1969. When I heard the song I was always thought the song was recorded by Stevie Wonder. The band Steam was active from 1969-1970 before they broke up due to DeCarlo refusing to cheat the fans during promotions by lip synching the hit song that will live on for a long time.

I think I have heard that song about a billion times during baseball games.
