Who Do We Be Fit For?

This morning, while I was waiting with Mum in the hospital for her to be called in for her check up, I heard on tivi that there was a writer stating that women have the responsibility to be fit for their husbands. This makes me wonder. Do I want to be fit for myself or do I try to be fit to please my husband? Ladies on myLot, what do you think of this? And gentlemen on myLot, what do you think of this? What about men? Do you try to be fit for yourself or do you do it for your ladies?

One should be first of all fit and healthy for oneself. If one is fit for herself/himself then only s/he could look after his/her family.

Yes, so when we go to the beach, we don't have to admire other ladies' bodies any more..

@atoz1to10 I am quite straightforward - true to myself and that saves my day! Being healthy myself helps others too to have an easier time - siva

Be fit for yourself first, regarding anything I would say, put yourself first. If you are not happy with your own self then external factors are just external

That's not fair. I am an advocate of gender equality.

Being fit is personal. It has a lot of benefits. First, you prevent diseases avoiding the cost of your health and the financial cost for treatments. Then you get the benefits of feeling fit, improved performances in your tasks(studies, work etc.), improved athleticism, and most importantly feeling energetic. Fit versions of people have a better attractive look as well. So it all adds up. Benefits of fit is for people of any gender any age. So no need to make this a problem among genders.:)
