Do you shovel your drive way or use a snow blower?

I have to use a shovel, but luckily I do not have a large drive way, it only takes me about a half an hour.

I prefer to shovel. It is greate exercise. I have been trying to tell people that shoveling is good for them...but for some reason, people don't like shoveling. :) LOL I love the snow and shoveling. I will be the first one out there to clean off the cars. But I also attribute that to growing up in Florida. We FL people don't get snow that often...and when it does snow once in a blue moon...it melts when it hits the ground.

Nope...just explaining why I like to shovel the snow. :) AND I am no long in Florida...I now live in the state that just got a blizzard yesterday! So we have about 8 to 10 inches out there that we had to shovel. And we do NOT have a small driveway. So, I feel your pain...literally! ha ha

We don't have snow blower, my husband shovels. Last year we lived in a house with street parking, no driveway, only a sidewalk. This year we have a front and back driveway.

I have to use a shovel. Some of the hardest work ever. My driveway is HUGE and is rocky.

My Dad, or bother in laws all take turns getting out the Tractors or the Cats and just shove snow to snow back beside the road the snow plows leave. Then we shovel the porches and sidewalks. Usually I do I love shoveling as I love to keep my back and arm muscles strong. - DNatureofDTrain

Good thinking, a strong back is very important when shoveling. After the first good snow my back aches for days!

Let an Eskimo tell you how to do it.... Screw snow blowing, pull out the ol' dog sled and hoof it. :) Shoveling your driveway is so much better for you.. if you do it the right way. Using a snow blower is fun, but only if it's a riding one... because if you're gonna be lazy, be LAZY!

I don't use either ... I have a husband! And he has a shovel. If I'm the dishwasher, then this is only fair! Though he did buy a cheap snowblower one year and he loved it. So did our neighbors because he was the first one out and did the entire block practically. I tried shoveling once and got in trouble from him. He didn't think it was a great way for a pregnant woman to get exercise. I didn't argue.

We do not own a snowblower and my husband hates to shovel because if there's snow on the ground, and enough of it that it has to be shoveled away, then he's off on his snowmobile! And God forbid if he had to take time away from riding his sled to shovel the driveway! He pays someone to come and plow...sad isn't it? I make my kids shovel the walkway and I do the front porch. We normally get alot of snow but right now we NONE and it's unbearable for my husband! And me cuz I have to listen to him whine about it!

Huh what? oh this is for people with snooowww. Okkaay I get it. Haha, we use shovels to shovel dirt off of our driveways and leaf blowers to blow leaves off. Mississippians, however, don't own snow blowers, snow shovels, snow suits, snowboards, or anything else that has the word snow in it. ha.
