Isiah Thomas who is currently working with the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) New York Liberty as their team president has denied rumors he is interested in succeeding Phil Jackson in the same capacity on Thursday. Thomas had worked with the Knicks as president of basketball operations from 2003-2008 but he was not able to make the team a winner during his tenure. Thomas and his teammate Bill Laimbeer who is the current coach of the Liberty have been able to have the Liberty win first place in the Eastern Conference in the WNBA in the last two years. It would a terrible decision for Thomas to leave his job with the Knicks to return to a front office position with the Knicks since he is happy working with female basketball players right now.

And what insane fool would hire Thomas given his executive track record?

What guy wouldn't be? The Knicks are in a world of hurt. If Phil jackson can't help them they aren't helpable!

According to the ESPN sportscasters who are native New Yorkers they are saying that the Knicks are a joke.
