2nd cataract surgery

My second cataract surgery is to take place next Thursday, July 6. I'm to start using eyedrops on Monday, the third. The application of those drops will continue for about a month, then (not sure when but maybe before the drops are done) I'll get a new eyeglasses prescription. I hope to have my new glasses prescription before the end of August. I am sooo looking forward to that!
Fingers crossed that it will be as successful as the first surgery. I'm more prepared this time, or at least I think I am. YAY!

Not long now before that other cataract surgery.
My Mother had hers done at 88 yrs old and now does not need glasses..she sees better than me.
I hope it goes fine for you Carol.

@blitzfrick Yes she just got her cataracts out that is all..she did not have vision correction. Thanks Carol.

I'm not getting my vision corrected with the surgery, like your mom did. I've grown so used to having incredible near vision, I've decided to keep it and get new glasses for far vision. Hooray for your mom! That is great news.

I remember you saying that you needed a second operation done in July.

Actually my mom will have her cataract surgery on this Tuesday. Although today it seems it is just a little surgery and she just needs to stay in the hospital for one night and she can leave next day. I still hope that it will go well. After all, the eyes are quite important. Good luck for you and my mom

@blitzfrick So it is a minor surgery since you can even leave after that. I know you will be alright and so will be my mom I tell my mom to lie on bed to have a good rest in the coming days. I don't want to have any accidents. So I will cook and she doesn't need to do anything at all except for having a good rest everyday

Hey, your mom and I are practically cataract twins, LOL! 
I don't get to stay in the hospital though, mine is done as outpatient surgery. I do have to go back the next day for post-op check up.

Thank you, I will follow the doctor's instructions closely this time same as I did last time. Also, I have two friends who will be watching over me and giving me assistance. I am very lucky and very thankful for all my friends, in real life and here in cyberspace!
