So of my nerdy tendencies are fueled by skepticism...

I'd like to preface this by mentioning that I'm a theist of the Christian variety. That being said many of you are probably now confused on how I can be skeptical of anything. Actually scratch that, as given that many here are ten to forty years my senior, you've lived long enough to know that even us religious minded folk can be skeptical of some things... But I just learned today from watching Lucy while making brunch that my "nerdy tendencies" to research subjects stems largely from skepticism. As I said in my post where I figured I was a nerd: ( when in the series Naruto, Sasuke told Deidara that "Earth Style is vulnerable to lighting" my immediate thought was:"Um, bullcrap, lightning doesn't do much damage when striking the Earth or rocks except singe it. But that skepticism lead to confirm my suspicions on whether or not Lightning could act as a sickness to Earth based elemental powers. But getting back to Lucy, aside from the 10% brain myth, when I heard that the substance CPH4 was caused embryos to develop their skeletal structure. So I looked that up. From what I've found it doesn't exist under the name given in the film, in fact much of what I've found just explained the process of how embryos develop into fetuses. But yeah, my point is, I'm a skeptic nerd, questioning anything that sounds scientific in nature... Pardon me if that makes me feel...uneasy...

I do not feel uneasy and I do the same thing..question things like that..others do not like that I do this. I must have the answer and one thing leads to another.

@TiarasOceanView Yeah there are occasions where I'm fueled by a child-like curiosity, but today taught me that some of my nerdy tendencies are fueled by skepticism. Which is why I feel uneasy about that aspect because me being skeptical is me being tense and well bitingly bitter. Which has me freaking out like:"NO, THIS IS NOT HOW I WANT TO INDULGE IN SCIENCE! Dx" Though it's not all bad, as I came away from this learning things about the female body... Whether that turns out to be good thing or not will be told by the forthcoming annals of time.
