Trying to Muscle In?

During my walk around the mall this afternoon I saw something quite interesting: Microsoft Windows has set up a kiosk in the mall. What made it stand out to me was its location....not too far from the Apple Store.
I guess they are there to "muscle in" on Apple's customers. The problem, however, is that it's not working...or at least not today. The Apple Store was packed, with a significant waiting list for people to get served. The Windows kiosk, in contrast, was empty, save for the employees.
I've been a total Apple person for two years now, and I'm sorry it took me so long to make the jump. Yes, they're definitely more expensive up front, but I can walk into the Apple Store and get service by an authorized Apple tech....for free. It pays for itself.
And here's Warren Zevon singing about shopping in malls:

This is an Apple PC I'm on. The one problem with Apple is the cost is often much greater thus I got a Dell laptop which reminded me that I had forgotten I didn't like Dell.

Dell, is terrible, not sure how they are even in business. I mean I do not blame you because like Hyundai or even Kia, where both brands have come such a long way, could see why Dell might be given another look, but I have not seen the improvements that I would like to see from them.

Interesting, Apple makes great products, but not a big fan of their corporate leadership and how they exploit the system. Microsoft cleanly a notch below, but seems to be trying hard to make things more decent for their workers and people in general. Just what I have read and the feedback I get.

Apple is great, for sure. I was an Apple user for a few years, they really do deserve the reputation that they have now.
