Good morning.I am totally busy with the study of the GST bill introduced in India. The Goods and Services Tax became effective from the midnight of 1.7.17. The people are expecting more benefits from the GST. The aim of GST being ONE NATION ONE TAX. I wanted to see the effect and its reaction on the General public. The Government is extolling GST as the Bible of Indian Economy. It says that it improves the living conditions of the poor and needy people. It improves the qUALITY of life of the Nation. It arrests hoarding of black money and puts an end to corruption etc. It also says that the bill improves and helps a lot the Agriculture Industry and farmers community in particular. This is pertinent to mention here that the same Govt. has also introduced LAB bill to take possession of land from the Agriculturists for the construction and establishment of Industries. When the Agriculturists and farmers are giving up their fertile lands to the Government for the establishment of Industries I really unable to understand who are the actual beneficiaries would be? There are many self-contradictory issues that are beyond the comprehension of a common man who expects only decrease in the prices of Goods and eatable items.
