My Angry Sister

Do you remember my post called "Want to Kill" that I posted on Friday about the Calico kitten? Well the good news is, she got adopted on Saturday to a lady that has been looking to adopt that breed for a long time. So a fantastic ending to a horrible beginning.
Now to my sister. Remember also in that post I had mentioned in the last sentence about the guy deserving a bullet between the eyes? Well in our normal phone call Sunday, I told her about sending that article to the paper and exactly what I had said.
My sister went ballistic on me and said that I was "disgusting" and that I was "going to go to hell." She said that I had no right to print that. I said, "I call that Freedom of Speech and I am not Politically Correct and I am not going to tolerate animal abuse."
Then she had to bring up the fact that I killed my husband while he was beating me half to death and that I had no morals for human life. She said again, "You disgust me; you're going to hell"' and she hung up.
Nothin' like sisterly love is there?

Bites when they throw stuff at you doesn't it Nanette?
I have a sister the same.(and really the whole family blamed me).we no longer speak or have any contact whatsoever. I get the blame for all the beatings I took.

@nanette64 Yes at least we would understand..and bond because of it.
Even though we are tough, those words they fling at us hurt. I am not listening to them anymore..done with it. Too stressful for me.

@TiarasOceanView Yeah, when she said I was going to hell, I started laughing and said, "Probably."

Blimey! I had no idea you had been through that. I would have hoped your sister would be more supportive and not use something like that as a stick to beat you with.
She should be thankful she's never been placed in a situation like that.
And, as I suspect you know, I'm totally with you on the animal thing.

Yes I did @Kandae11 ; I didn't have a choice. It was either him or me that day. When he got out of jail from a previous incident of beating me, he stated specifically, "Nobody puts me in jail." When I found out from my Mom that he had called her and the police to state I'd been missing for 3 days (when I hadn't been), that he had some plans for me and was covering his tracks in advance.

@nanette64 Mine threatened to kill me if I ever tried to leave him - that made me leave even faster.
