Feeding animals people food

I know that a lot of people do it. I don't think it is ok. Many people don't know that chocolate can kill a dog. There are tons of foods that are harmful to animals.

Oh I do it all the time lol :) as long as the food isnt harmful to them (like feeding dogs grapes, raisin and chocolate is VERY bad)

its fine its good to cook up a meal for your pets too

the only people food i feed my animals is left over chicken and i mix it in there food. i never feed them from the table, that is a bad habit. I don't like it when dogs beg while I'm eating. most human foods are no good for your pets due to the added spices and flavorings.

Some people will tell you never to do it, but I do and my dogs are fine. Its hard to resist those cute little eyes.

That so wrong you should never feed your dog, food made of people. They might get the idea it's ok to attack people all the time...

I give my dog and cat table scraps all the time and it doesn't seem to hurt them at all. But I do feed them regular cat and dog food to sometimes if they aren't enough scraps for both. But I say it is ok I mean it has been done for what since the beginning of time? So it shouldn't hurt. Although a Vet. will tell you it can mess up their digestive tract to be feed table scraps. But so far my animals are ok. And healthy

Our dog Bingo, gets bread and scrambled eggs once in a while, but that is all that we give him. I don't want his digestive system to get all messed up with eating our food.

My cats get fed nothing but meat. They are carnivores.

im pretty sure that its bad for them if you give them too much and also some animals just cant have certain people foods or it makes them sick, i wouldnt take the chance with a pet of mine but it is probably okay in small amounts and foods you are sure are safe for the particular animal

Yes I think it is ok as long as it is not to much my little Fellow always gets my left overs but I don't eat unhealthy food so it is ok for him

It really depends on what you are feeding them. If you are feeding them fruits and veggies, whole grains, etc than it is ok. If you are feeding them french fries, hamburgers, greasy foods, snack foods than it is not ok

I give mine people food sometimes.
