The thing which is most interesting for me when I visit another country is always the language. Hearing words that sounds exactly the same in your own language but means something very different. In South Africa most of the dutch generation speak Afrikaans, so there is exactly one sentence that has the same spelling, same meaning and same words in both English and Afrikaans: My hand is in warm water.
