I don't like insects! Like ants, mosquitos, cockroaches. It's just eww for me! But when you live in a tropical country like mine, it can't be avoided. Before I use chemical based insecticides even though my guts tell me it's not good for the health. It's the easiest one to obtain because it's available to almost if not all of the supermarkets. But when I got married and had children, I research on organic insecticides so I can't damage the health of my family. It was then I discovered about citronella. It's a plant based insecticides. So i tested it and its effective. The only problem is its kind of expensive. So what I did is to further research on what other plant repels insects. Then I found out about eucalyptus which by the way is very much available in most of our drugstore here. Like citronella, it can drive insects away. So what I did is i mixed the eucalyptus oil with an Ethel alcohol and placed it my empty used cologne bottle and wala! My own safe organic home made insecticide! Afterwards I tried it and indeed I was so happy because it was very effective! So since then I've been using this to drive away all the insects. The ants disappear, I have no problem with mosquitoes, cockroaches and other bugs! Do you have problem with bugs and other insects? How do you deal with it? The picture shows the ingredients I use to make my own home made insecticide. Hope this helps!

@HeartBM O yes they are. Mosquitoes are plentiful and every other bug you can think of but mostly in summer and mostly outdoors.

I use Baygon plugin (mosquito mat) and Baygon chalk for ants/cockroaches. No kids at home.

yah its the common and most easiest way to deal with insects i guess. Its no problem if there's no one around when you spray it

The best ways to deal with it is by using an aroma difuser with citronella oil in it.it will not only keep your home nice and fragrant all day long but also keep the insects off.
