Stepfather is arrested for failing to report abuse of stepson: He is not my responsibility

A Florida man says his stepson is not his responsibility. He indicates that he is white and rich. The woman he married is black. He says the two children he has with his wife are taken care of. The child who is not being taken care of is five years old. He is under 25 pounds and very malnourished. He has not been bathed in a quite awhile. They found him eating cereal on a dirty floor. I don't know about you, but when I think of a rich man, I don't think of a dirty carpet. For a man to call himself white and rich sounds and to say that this black boy is not his responsibility, it sounds like he sees black people as inferior. If that is the case, why did he marry a black woman? There is too much of this. The woman has children with a new man and ignores the child she had from a former relationship. Is that out of fear of her new man? She cannot see this black boy as inferior if she is black. Why would she marry a man who appears to be racist? This is very odd. Where is the common decency? It does not matter if the child is black or white or belongs to him or someone else. He is a child who deserves to be cared for.
